Posting an entry from the Entourage Edge

So this is my first blog posting using the Entourage Edge!

When I first opened the box and took out the device I immediately felt very comfortable holding the device. Although it of course weighs more than an iPhone, clearly not unexpected, it weighs less than a laptop. The dual screens are both easy to view and use.

Setting it up has been very easy, of course not Apple like, but no where near the complexity of some devices!

The on screen keyboard is easy to use but does suffer from a latency issue, around 2 seconds after you type a letter it appears! This can make typing frustrating. Also, the spell checker is not the greatest and seems to want to make every word starting with “an”, Android!

But, if you are going to be an early adopter you need to accept these type of small issues.

Overall I am sold on its value. It will be great when Android marketplace is installed, the camera works, the bookstore is global, the speed through software updates is improved and I have learnt how to use every attribute!

Over the coming weeks I will post some videos and more opinions!

Cheers,

Scott
